Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) organizes 6G research conference in Hyderabad India, hosted by BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus

WWRF organized the prestigious 53rd Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) meeting. The conference was superbly hosted by BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus from February 18 to 20, 2025.  Themed “Smart Wireless Systems for Collective Prosperity in a Green Future,” the conference has brought together leading researchers, industry experts, and thought leaders to explore the latest advancements in wireless communication technologies and their role in fostering sustainability and global connectivity.

 

The 53rd WWRF Conference at BITS Pilani Hyderabad features over 30 global experts discussing the latest research and innovations in smart wireless systems, with more than 100 participants engaging in keynote sessions, panel discussions, and paper presentations. The conference has been inaugurated by Prof.  Soumyo Mukherji, Director of BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. A distinguished lineup of speakers includes Prof. Matti Latva-aho (University of Oulu), Dr. Nigel Jefferies (WWRF Chairman), Shri. Bharat Bhatia (Vice Chair, WWRF & President, IAFI), and other renowned experts in wireless communications. Invited speakers are from: (i) leading academic institutions including University of Aalborg, University of Piraeus, University of Strathclyde, KAUST, IISC Bangalore, IIT Hyderabad, IIIT Hyderabad, University of Calcutta (ii) leading industries including Qualcomm, Google, Capgemini, Bosch, Harman, Ericsson, Peridot Technologies, and Anritsu and (iii) leading government national and international institutions including Bharat 6G Alliance, C-DAC, CDOT, WHO Regional Office for Europe, Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories and DRDO Labs and NICT, Japan.

The conference will address emerging challenges and opportunities in wireless technology, strongly emphasizing sustainable and green communication solutions. Discussions will explore how the convergence of 6G, AI, IoT, and green communications can meet the growing demands of an interconnected world while tackling climate change, resource scarcity, and digital inequality.
